Registration is open for the Babysitting Course which will take place on November 1, 2021. This course is run by First Aid Here, a training partner of the Canadian Red Cross.
This course is for children aged 11-15 (Grades 6-8) and will run from 9:00am - 4:00pm online via zoom. Students will learn how to be a responsible leader, care for younger children and how to make good decisions and manage difficult behaviour.
They will learn how to create safe environments, make safe choices, and promote safe behaviours. They will also learn the business of babysitting. Basic first aid skills are also covered.
Maximum 15 kids. Registration will be done through eastview.hotlunches.net. The registration fee is $65.00 and the registration deadline is October 15, 2021 to allow enough time for course materials to be mailed to your home.
